A New Feeder

Before we left to Florida on December 4th, I had to put up a new feeder. I couldn't keep the top on the old one, so it had to go.

But, on my return on the 16th...the feeder was still half-full. I topped it off on Monday, and all the seed is still there.

What's the problem? Do the birds not like the new design? Do they just not like new things? Do they not like the color red? I just don't know. It's the same seed I've always used, so that's not it. The problem has really got me thinking...and that's NOT something I'm used to doing.

The blue jays didn't show up until I put the peanuts out. This piggie here tried to put 3 peanuts at a time into his beak. Guess he missed the lessons on sharing.
