Giggles

Just a quickie tonight since I waited to long to post my Blip and my eyes are starting to close.
My granddaughter learned something new from her little friends. You ask her "What's up?" and she answers "chicken butt". She falls over in fits of giggles when she says it. As if it's such a taboo to say the word 'butt'. Ha-ha

We had our holiday lunch for the book club I belong to and the hostess made a huge pot of chili with all the toppings on the side and some fresh cornbread. It was hearty and delicious. There was wine, salad and a lemon cake for desert. Just wonderful. We picked our new book to read, The Outside Boy, by Jeanine Cummins. I really look forward to these meeting and great discussions about the books we read. I meant to take a photo of the table or the group but never did.
Instead I ended up peering out the window with my telephoto to try and capture some of the birds that were visiting my feeder. They scare so easily I feel like a spy trying to get a photo while sticking my camera lens through a small opening in the curtains. I was hoping to get a cardinal but settled on this guy.
