Lake Bunyonyi to Ruhengeri

So today i was up early and managed a shower, but then by the time the rest of the group there was neither electric nor water!

3 hour drive to the Ugandan border where we the lady at passport control was quite possible the most miserable border control person I have ever experienced!

We then walked to the Rwandan border where we were met by a friendly policeman and then friendly immigration staff.

On to the Hotel Muhabura and scorching sunshine but no water as there was a local problem.

We walked into town and changed money - quite a task as the first bank we went to people kept queue jumping and then wanted to charge a ridiculous commission, thankfully the second bank Equity proved more tourist friendly as one of the staff filled in the forms for us!

Early dinner and bed before the big day tomorrow - this is it the day we've been waiting for - we are off to see the Mountain Gorillas!!
