we've got an australian volunteer with us for a few weeks and she's so far been a bundle of fun and energy! she's been helping with assemblies and the college christian union and generally getting stuck in.

today we treated her to a battered mars bar. we are determined to give her the full british experience, although in fairness, it should have really been fish and chips. i had one too and felt sick for most of the rest of the afternoon.

we managed to put a bit of the memorial service today while we were back in the office. it was fun to watch it while texting my friends in zambia and watching the live twitter feeds especially relating to the fairly ridiculous jacob zuma. i still fail to understand why mugabe got such big cheers though, vile little man that he is.
