proud

we went to ikea yesterday and i got a severe mocking from beth after i bought a coat hook and told her i'd have to wait for dad to come and fix it up for me.

today i was handed a drill and some thorough instructions and told to go and be a woman.

i did it!

along with a lovely old map of NYC which i kind of stole from the aforementioned beth, my hallway is looking rather wonderful. by the way, i hung the picture all by myself too. so smug. i can take on anything.
