It'll have to be the sunset then

Just as the sun was setting it burst out from behind a layer of cloud and bathed the area in golden light. But you're not getting that one. Instead, you'll have to put up with that old standby: the sunset. Not spectacular as I thought it was going to be but nice enough for the time of year.

Inspired again by Working Dad, this time by his Christmas cakes from this year and last. I was very impressed and will have to have a go. Got some good tips from his Dad, who I assume is Retired Dad about how to seal the lids of mince pies.

Another good workout at the gym and a few bits and pieces accomplished at home. Feeling very lethargic this evening which is not like me at all. No rugby to watch this weekend either but I'm down on the Kent and East Sussex Railway on Sunday in the Wittersham Road Signal Box. Won't be able to do much owing to injury but it will be good to keep my hand in over the winter and the railway isn't opening again until late March owing to extended track work.
