Winter Wonderland

It was a tough call on blips today - "between the showers" or "during the showers".

I eventually went for "between the showers", when the south end of Shetland looked splendid.

After the really bleak weather of yesterday with sub-zero temperatures and storm-force winds, the winds have gradually dropped as the day has gone on. although the snow showers have still been pretty bleak. There still wasn't much road traffic around, but there was lots of activity aimed at getting the airport operational again.
