But it's no ordinary stairwell.

It's in the amazing Express building on Fleet Street. Today ip Open House day and a bl**dy marvelous day to be back in London, having a chance to see inside buidings normally closed to the public.

Although I worked for the Sunday Express, I was never fortunate enough to see inside this building before now.

Sadly we don't have full rein, but do get to experience the exquiste Art Deco ceiling details and the imposing entrances to the Daily and Sunday Express offices. Here is one of my favourite details.
