Early morning dialysis bag

The nurse who came to replace the bag yesterday came very late. So just to make up for it, Kim, this morning's nurse came at 8.30am. Luckily I was up, but mum wasn't.

So this is a full bag glinting in the morning sunshine.

The bag it's self is made of an odd sort of plastic, feels a bit like skin to the touch. It sits on a heater which brings it to blood temperature before entering the body.

Anyway, mum now uses the machine like an old pro, even understanding that if it 'pings' too much she should reboot it (I'll get her on the computer yet).

So I returned home to London in the fastest time ever I think... 3 hours!
