One Year On

It's one year today since we moved into our new home.
This shot is more for my interest, but those that have followed our building journey may be interested.  I'll re photograph it this time next year to look at the garden progress.
follow the progress, one year ago!!.
I'm so enjoying the progress of the garden, there are one short of 50 rhodo's, numerous irises, peony roses, roses, daffodils and DayLily's in this garden, very little colour at the moment, the roses are just starting to bloom.  The lawn is starting to burn off, no longer the lush green.

If you go large you will see the different tones of black on our roof.  Different batches it seems, we will be re roofed early next year. Bugger, but no cost to us, just a little inconvenience.

A slow start to the day (nothing to do with the party last night!!), we decided to have a "take it easy" Sunday.  I planted my azaleas and the cosmos plants this morning, while Doig cooked lunch.
Since then, I've played scrabble with dups on the iPad, continued reading The Tea Rose (so many twists and turns) and am watching the final round of the Australian Open, a real tussle between the Ozzie Adam Scott and Irish Rory McIlroy. Three holes to play.
