Clouds in our Landscape
Gale force nor-westers last night and most of the day....tiring to say the least!
I bought some evergreen azalea's this morning and prepared the ground to plant, probably tomorrow. We are very fortunate to have a rhodo and azalea grower just around the corner who gives good advice and prices.
Doug sprayed the lawn in between gusts, I'm a bit worried about drift but he assures me. Time will tell.
Power went off this afternoon, no doubt because of the gales, but was only off for a hour or so.
This sky, which is down the hill from our home, is the product of the southerly change that came through, the clouds all around were incredible, blacks and whites and all tones in between. I used the wide angle with the polariser filter - wow, does it do the business in the sky!!
We're off out to neighbours party tonight, split roast - yummo. Husband and wife have both turned 50 within the last couple of weeks. We're in walking distance as well, so no driving, I will enjoy a little beverage or two :)
