Sphinx

My day started at 3:30am this morning when I took Holly and Will to the airport. It was a surreal way to start the day, not as surreal as it was for them however I’m sure. Apart from one minor issue where their flight had been changed, with the check-in lady assuring them ‘your travel agent should have notified you’, everything went well. It just meant their flight was a little later and to be fair the check-in lady was very nice and helpful about it.

I came home and had a quick lie down before continuing on to work. That went well, then went back home, packed my bag and got the train to Traralgon. It’s been a few years since I’ve caught the v-line to Traralgon, as I used to do it every weekend back in my uni days. Admittedly it hasn’t changed much, but technology has as I was now able to watch a few episodes of TV shows off my phone.

I’m just having a quick visit to Traralgon this time unfortunately, as my primary reason for visiting is a suit fitting for an upcoming wedding I’ll be part of. However I did get to have a very nice evening with my parents, with some delicious burritos and mexican rice made by Mum, as well as some good conversation.

The character in today’s blip is our cat Possum. I took some shots of her during the day and unfortunately didn’t get anything that jumped out at me. So I quickly found her again and took some more shots. In order to get this photo I had to let her lie on my chest in order for her to lie still. This involved a bit of awkward posturing and some uncomfortable neck craning, but at least I finally got a shot I liked. It also allowed me to join the ranks of millions of people who have put cat photos on the internet, but the first to have one from Traralgon called Possum
