Up and down like a fiddler's elbow
I think I need to start rearranging my days a bit. I could get up at say, 2am, start work at 3am and then perhaps have an hour's lunch break at 7:30am. That's the time the light is best in the sky over here in Ayr. At the time when everyone is posting beautiful sunsets in Edinburgh, it's virtually going pitch black over here! I was up and down like a fiddler's elbow today. The sun kept dazzling me as it moved along the length of the living room window. I had to keep getting up to alter the blinds!
Nothing wild to report today. Tesco Man came at 9:30. As I told Shauqat via email, I seldom get to see Tesco Man here. Mom goes down and answers the door and then I hear the heavy footfalls and rattling bags coming up the stairs to the kitchen. I always stay in the living room tapping away on my laptop. I'm quite happy to have a mystery visitor in the hall. You can imagine all sorts, can't you?
I've eaten too much today. I think I need to give up mince pies or the plane won't get off the ground on Sunday.
I finished on time today in between tasks. I have saved all my favourite things for tomorrow - a load of new starters with start dates of the 1st of December. We wandered up to TK Maxx to feed the birds and I'm glad to say I didn't end up with my hair full of bread today. Mom panicking and chucking the whole bag straight at me did not happen, I'm glad to say.
That's it for today. Richmond Irish Sausages (the thin ones) with egg and chips was dinner. That is my favourite.
