So I was half expecting Dad to be in a foul mood; he wasn't. Took him to do his lottery and he seemed happy enough. He has a back ache but it only took me 10 minutes to realise that he's been trying to cut his own toenails and he's hurt his back for stretching too much. So I told him off and said he should let the chiropodist do it. Amazingly his back pain disappeared after that!

Had a friend over for dinner. Well when I say dinner I mean take away! It's good to catch up but it made me realise how long since we last got together. I am really blessed to have such lovely friends.
