I had a call from the care home saying Dad wanted to go to the bank and take £600 out and he wants to join a gym. I was planning on going to see him today, but after the call I decided to make them wait. I will no longer jump to Dad's demands and the care home needs to know that they have to learn to deal with him. That's what they are getting paid for. Things need to change and I need to tell the home that they can't keep ringing like this. I know he gets cross, but what would they do if he had no children?
