A Crane Confrontation

I don't think it was actually a confrontation, but that made for a better title. I think it is a couple of crane kids...crane cadets...crane cubs...blowin off a little steam...doin their crane thing.

Again today...I saw hundreds of cranes. Yesterday they were next to a small lake in peoples yards. Today, they were in a farmers corn field.

I love me some sand-hill cranes. They must be filling up on corn to prepare for their journey south.

Speaking of going south...we're heading 15 miles south tonight for my daughters wedding rehearsal, and the rehearsal dinner. The countdown is down to 2. The grand event takes place Saturday night.
