The Wee Blue Roofed Hut

Another night on the batter and other fuzzy head. Had breakfast and helped get the cottage sorted before heading off to the Dalwhinnie to do another Munro (Meall Chuaich) in gorgeous sunshine.

Quick wander up the track to the wee power station then it was an easy wander to the fairly undistiguished summit. An unremarkable hill was brightened by two teenage girls that decided that they'd wear onesies over their hillwalking gear. Brought a smile to my face anyway, not often you see a big Freisan coo and a giant white mouse on the hill.

Headed back down as the weather was turning and drove back down the road. Dropped Lucy off and then it was a shower, a bit of a rest and then pick up my mate Dougie and head to Glasgow for the Frightened Rabbit gig. Two good support bands in Lanterns On the Lake and We Were Promised Jetpacks. Frightened Rabbit came on and the place went mental. Not sure what I was expecting of the gig but I never envisaged the crowd going that nuts. Very good night.
