Glen Etive

A right early start to the day as I got up at five to drive north to the Ochils Mountaineering Club meet in Glen Etive. I hasd't managed to snag a place but a bed came available for Saturday only so I travelled up in the morning to get a day on the hills first. I arived at the Smiddy cottage (gorgeous wee place full of character) had breakfast with the guys and then took some shots of weird and wonderful light further up Loch Etive. Weather wasn't great and we headed up Ben Trilleachean where we had the now near traditional OMC navigational clusterfuck and never reached the top in the mist. Good views were had on the way down, tea and cake were had in the cottage and then a wander along the shore of the loch. A great night was then had in the cottage. Another excellent day in the hills.
