From the dark corner.....

Desperation!

What can I say! I had a choice between a very pissed off squirrel - I hadn't refilled the nut container at the side of the shed - or this, the second most awful picture I have ever taken in my entire life! I'd wasted the entire first two thirds of the day sat on my arse behind watching Still Game DVDs when I should have been tidying out cupboards and doing other useful things that normal, responsible adults do at weekends and instead, I was sat on the settee doing nothing like the wrinkly teenager I am.

Dearie me! Just be pleased that this really is a quickie.

It was the Dog and Doublet for dinner as usual on a very dreary Sunday where there were the least amount of people I have ever seen in that place which is usually packed to the rafters with families having their Sunday dinners. I wondered if someone had announced it was the End of the World and had forgotten to tell me. The day had that depressed kind of feel you would expect in January, two weeks into the brave New Year.

I have no idea what was going on. I had my jacket spud, cheese and broccili bake, sad salad and three pints of Abbot Ale. It was so dark a couple of hours later at only 6pm, when I decided to stand next to the canal hoping for a moon or drowning person, something blipworthy anyway and this was all I got. There wasn't even a lit up barge with shadowy people behind curtains...

Ho hum. Never mind!

Track? This one is perfect for me and my wild day - Livin' On The Edge
