By another light - turned on by incoherent me
(Diffracted, split)
The refracted, reflected smile
That you weren't there to give
Was absorbed by the darkness
(List possible sources of inaccuracy: poor beam transmission)
The readings were taken
And recorded
And no conclusion was reached
