Up up and away

This is a USAF C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft,this is something you don't see at Timaru Richard Pearse Airport everyday because they don't land big jets here because the runway is too small. This aircraft landed unloaded a couple of vehicles, stores and troops as part of Exercise Southern Katipo and then took off again, this is quite exciting for Timaru and should see troops all over the place for the next 3 weeks.C17 imformation
