Fuzzy Wuzzy

Lophocampa maculata, spotted tussock moth caterpillar.

Found him on the street downtown, just sitting on the pavement by the curb. After I picked him up he got pretty lively and was crawling all over my hand. It tickles. I couldn't get a face shot--he was moving too fast. Left him on the side of a tree. If he's from a big family, I don't think the tree will be very happy.
