Impulse buy

Normous came home with this paw paw from yesterday's shopping trip. It was a large lump of a fruit with blotchy yellow and green skin and lumps and bumps all over it. This unprepossessing outside makes the very beautiful sight when it is cut in half even better! Lovely pink/orange flesh and the shiny dark grey pips are such a surprise. And it tasted fantastic with a dash of lime juice. What a treat for a Wednesday breakfast! And we'll have the other half tomorrow morning.
