The Grange

This lovely building is the reception area and offices for The Grange Centre It is a residential training centre for disabled people giving them training in life and social skills and the opportunity to work. When we first moved to the area it was called "The School of Stitchery and Lace" but has developed into a much larger establishment with training in catering, gardening, IT etc.
I was there this morning to deliver two black sacks of fabrics. I have historically found it very difficult to throw away any scrap of fabric, large or small, which "might come in useful". Grumbles from Normous and a guilty conscience concentrated the mind and resulted in a massive turn out. I wonder how long it will be before I remember a piece which would have been just right for the latest project!
