Autumn

I think Autumn has to be my favourite season of all. I know all seasons bring change of one description or another but for me Autumn brings the most dramatic change of all. The landscape comes alive with a vibrancy and colours only found in the imagination or the palette's of great artists. The weather seems to change overnight. Summer dew is transformed into strands of ice by the long fingers of Jack Frost's touch.

It also brings a change to training habits, the bike gets put in the shed and the running shoes get dusted off. Longies replace the shorts and layers get put on top with hats and gloves to complete the look. And thank goodness for the gym and classes.
