the bin project

Had tea ( chai made from scratch which was a real treat) with neighbour Z this morning to natter about the street's 'decorating the green bin' project.
She is going to 'yarn bomb' my bin and her half of the family office is chockers with wool, threads, yarns and lots of pieces she has started for projects and not completed.
These are crocheted japanese flowers and will be part of the bin adornment with lots of other funky stuff.

The idea is to sew/attach them to a piece of backing material which will be attached to the bin...and which I can remove after a little time and hog for a wall hanging!
