...for this junior Red Wattlebird plonked in the middle of an hibiscus shrub.

I was wondering why this normally flighty bird didn't scarper when A and I crashed by, he chasing a stick and me chucking the stick.
Having spotted their nest earlier this week it is a huge thrill to find Mamma and junior sharing the first explorations of the big, wide world.
