Lesson learnt
Popped out for a blip and to return an item that has been in my possession for, oh, years. I don’t think my friend really wanted it back, but she’s got it. Trouble is, I can never remember which is her house, and was in a bit of a panic. But luckily, her dog was sitting up in the window, looking out. She wasn’t in, so I left it round the back. I’ll ring her later in case the dog doesn’t mention my visit.
On the way there I came across a skateboard park. I’d first spotted this park many months ago, and always intended to return, but I couldn’t remember where it was! I was so excited when I came across it today.
Loads of young lads, whizzing about doing wheelies and whatnots. They didn’t mind me being there, in fact, I spoke to this young chap, because he was the most colourfully dressed. He kindly kept coming up in the same place for me.
But I had to keep moving back more each time, to fit in his jump. In fact, I was just settling in for a pleasant hour or so of action shots, once I had found the best spot, when…
…... MY BATTERY CONKED OUT!!! Grrrrrrr.
I was so annoyed. With myself. I haven’t been charging each time, as I don’t think that’s good for the battery, so I do it every few days. Except I didn’t do it yesterday. This will never happen again. I had bought batteries, which didn’t work and had to be sent back. I think I will have to buy a spare named battery. Can’t have this happening on safari!!
So apologies for today’s effort - don't go large! I didn't have time to try different settings, so didn’t have much to choose from. I had to fiddle about to get any detail on his face. But I will go back there.
Doing a few chores. A very busy week as we move on Friday.... Yikes!
Off to the neighbours for tea dinner supper.
