Cairo Treasure Trove

I've been in this shop before and bought a few bits n bobs before too. It's in Zamalek and it really is a treasure trove of rooms stuffed full of interesting things and a mix of old and new. I bought two little things and considered a third but will wait till Bb's back to help me choose. I think a few little Christmas pressies might be bought in Cairo this year. I went to a leaving party tonight of 3 teachers in the BC who are heading off to Alexandria tomorrow morning to work in the new BC teaching centre there. They'll make a good team and will be missed in the teachers' room here. I had hoped to get a blip from the 8th floor terrace, where the party was held, but it was too smoggy. Week 2 tomorrow and I even have have a couple of social things in my diary for this week!
