Macarons not Macaroons...

A spot of idea development for a last minute brief. Two ideas please for a recipe card for the beginning of next week... must use Fairtrade bananas.

So... here's banana and cream macarons. The light is awful and this is rushed but I think I need to colour the meringue a little to make them look a bit more... cheerful. G tells me that they taste lovely though, so that's a relief :)

Thankfully the banoffee trifle always looks sublime, added colouring not required.

To quote my friend Ming... 'Alan Bennett & Patricia Routledge would share macaroons. Juliette Binoche would nibble a macaron.'
