Just leaf it to me

My Photoshop skills are still very poor and sometimes I get so frustrated because I can't create the images I see in my head.

This for example. I wanted to do a mono of these beech leaves because I love their structures once they have curled and dried. But all my attempts to produce a good mono fell short in my view. They were ok but nothing jumped out at me.

So instead I've chosen this one because it shows that beech leaves are not a uniform colour. It's tempting to think that they are when you see them in huge drifts under the hedge, but look... bronze, green, purple and gold... and such interesting shapes.

Oh well, I'll get the hang of Photoshop one day I suppose.
