Not a grey day

It didn't last long but for about 10 minutes this morning the eastern sky was on fire! Well not literally, we'll leave the gross exaggerations to the media (who are telling us Sydney is on fire when in reality Lithgow, the subject of Sky's rantings is nearly 90 miles away to the west).

Now, as the wide mouthed weather girls on BBC and their ilk sweep their manicured fingers across clever digital charts, grin then grimace and claim "we're all in for a drenching and strong winds" I look out of the window and see the sun is shining through high thin clouds and the trees are still.

I must have got up on the wrong day. Silly me.
