Replenishing

What a lovely day. Spent the morning chilling with Ju n Audes - my childcare skills are slowly improving - before we headed into Manchester to shop and eat. A quick trip round selected shops (mainly Selfridges) proved very fruitful as bought a belated bday pressie for Ju, one for my sis' upcoming 'special' birthday, some new wedge boots and a new makeup brush.

We then headed to AllStar Lanes in Manchester for lunch - and a bloody nice lunch it was too. Had salmon and sweet potato mash with a side of butter beans with pork. Highly highly recommended.

Said our goodbyes and had a decent journey home listening to the footy - Everton won again. Quick snooze back at home before chilling out with homemade butternut squash soup (homegrown by mum n dad) and tv. Feel so replenished. I needed that.
