Chilling and chatting

Took a well deserved day off today and tried to catch up on life. Went to see my trainer for the first time in weeks so felt very unfit - he'll soon get me back in shape though. Then popped in to see a friend who was busy making a cake for her son's 2nd birthday party. Impressed with her decorating attempts.

Back home the floor man was there - he's making great progress and the floor is laid in the hall and mostly in the lounge. Still needs treating and staining but can already see how great it's going to look. But boy can he talk - we spent a good 2omins talking about stain options but if it gets the floor where I want it then it will be worth it. He was also saying how impressed he was with the fella's DIY skills saying it was as good as a professional joiner!

Then headed up to Manchester to catch up with LadyPride and her beautiful daughter. Audes was toddling last time I saw her but is now walking confidently which is lovely to see. We were both shattered so spent a very chilled out night on the sofa in our pjs eating home made curry, putting the world to rights and watching rubbish tv. My kinda night.
