All change

Dear blip

Sorry for my absence in the last few weeks (ok nearly 6) but I took a break from it for a few days and kinda liked not having the pressure to take a photo everyday. But I'm back and raring to go.

And in my defence a lot has happened in the last few weeks:
- the new floors were finished and the old bedroom one mended, sanded and stained
- the hall, stairs and landing, bedroom and dressing room have been decorated
- there are new carpets in the dressing room and stairs and landing
- the new bedroom furniture arrived (long with 2 fab cushions my mum knitted)
- I had a week of meetings in Dallas
- Efta and her fella moved back from NYC and we had a fab (if expensive) London shopping trip / catch up
I think that's all.

O no! I forgot to say that the fella has moved in and it's awesome waking up with him every morning (especially as I get tea and toast in bed) and coming home with him every night. And the biggest news is I'm 13 weeks pregnant! We had our first scan on Tuesday which was amazing / awe inspiring / emotional and shared our news with family and friends. Everyone is so excited and happy for us which is lovely - the fella's mum has already been out and picked up a load of pram brochures and my mum has started knitting a blanket.

So it really is all change here - but bloody amazing changes. I feel so lucky and blessed like all my hopes and dreams are coming true.

Life is good.
