The old window
I could take a photo a day of crumbling walls and rotting wood but all things in moderation! Today I have been cooking in preparation for a shared meal on Sunday. There will be about fourteen coming so I decided (veggies stop reading now) to get the wild boar joints that were given to us when I accompanied the local hunt last year to see how it works. I marinaded the meat over night in grape juice, olive oil, vinegar and lemon and cooked it long and slow this morning with figs and prunes. I might add some green olives when I reheat it. The casserole tastes good though I say it myself! We have friends over for a birthday meal tonight so it has been a busy day in the kitchen.
