Patience

It was a day of two halves. I repaired and reassembled two clocks it the morning and then went about stripping two more. What frustration! If it had been my clock it might have ended up thrown across the room. Two hours into the job it became apparent that the repair was not possible. It was a beast of a mechanism and all had to be reassembled. I finally got it in back in the case ready to hand back to customer. Four hours work for nothing! They say patience is a virtue. Oh well, you win some and you lose some...
