Measures of time
I have shot this everyday for the last 4 days with the intent to blip it. This is a piece of moulding in the dining room. In the course of our childhood, I am one of 5, Our heights were charted every year. I am the tallest sister at 5 3. (Or 160.2 cm. I think that's the measurement in Europe.) Over the years our numbers and names have worn off to be replaced by those of the grandchildren, their spouses and various friends. My tallest nephew is 6' 4" (193.04. Cm. thanks to google) needless to say a little taller than we were. Some of the names are almost carved into the wood. My nephew Thom, (30)who fought with his brother Nick (29)over their heights this weekend put my father the tallest of all. Time marches on. What will the next names be? They will start with Ava who will be born in November. The next generation to mark the wood. Btw I have tried 3 times to post this each time it was the wrong direction. Let's hope this works
