Niya Jean...On Guard
It's almost 5 p.m., and I haven't even thought about my camera. Church, soup-making, and family dinner have kept us going.
As I stated...we had soup for lunch. My brother made chicken soup, my sister made vegetable cabbage, and bean soup, and I made wild rice soup. I tried every one. All good, plus...enough left over for supper.
We bowled up some leftovers, and I took 2 bowls over to our neighbor, along with some pumpkin dump cake.
Our faithful chihauhau Niya was waiting for me at the front door. Faithful...loyal...needy...clingy...neurotic...odd. (How much time ya got? It might take hours to describe, or explain her.)
P.S. After re-reading my wedding blip from last night, and glancing at your comments...I might have been unintentionally mis-leading.
Brittany is the daughter of some dear friends of ours. I think I made it sound like she was our daughter. Regardless...we are awfully proud of her, of her parents, and of the obstacles she has overcome.
That being said...our own daughter is getting married 48 nights from tonight. I paid close attention to the father in last nights ceremony. How he said..."Her mother and I."
I think I can do it.
