To brighten your day!

On this awful dull, dreary, wet day it is nice to look out of the window and see some brightness still in the garden.
I thought this nasturtium looked lovely in the rain.

A perfect day for a bit of shopping!

Just went to M&S near Pudsey.

Bought a pedestal mat and hand towel for the (newly decorated) downstairs toilet.
Winter shirt and vests for MrC.
Factor 50 sun cream. ( well it was half price and will do for next year, when the sun returns!)
Oh and two 1kg packs of beef lasagne.
(nice to have in the freezer )

If something is on special offer make sure you don't get charged the full price when you get to the checkout!!
I bought these because they were two for £8 instead of £5.49 each.
The bill came to £10.98.
So I told the check out girl it should be £8.
" No. They are £5.49 each."
Me "They are on Special Offer at £8."
"I will go and check."
Waited , and waited, and then she came back and apologised.
" You are right!"
I told her it wasn't her fault. Just tell the person who programmes the computers to do it right!!
What a wonderful way to make extra money!!
If you have a lot things in your basket, would you notice you had been charged too much?
SO ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BILL!
