"Flat Stanley", authored by Jeff Brown, features a cutout character who has many adventures. My friend's grandson, who is in grade 3, lives in Arizona. She received a "Flat Stanley" from her grandson in the mail and took him about town today to introduce him to the city. We started in the sagebrush on a bench overlooking Kamloops. Then we were at the lookout, the newspaper, the park, the beach, and Gran's apartment. My friend is to document "Flat Stanley's" exploration and send it back to her grandson for him to share with his class. We had a super afternoon taking this character out for photos!
