First Pre-Birthday Day as a Mommy xxx

Had a lovely day today. Eva only woke once in the night about 1.30 am, then slept til about 8 am yayyyyyyy :-) :-) :-)

Mike sorted the cats, then went off to junior hockey training, and I got Eva sorted upstairs, then came down and did us both breakfast. I've decided to chill out a bit about her eating. She's hardly wasting away. So I didn't bother with baby cereal this morning, but went back to just toast and fruit, and she was happy chomping away and even made the odd mmmmm noise.

My Dad came round in the afternoon, closely followed by Stu. Eva was fast asleep having her nap, so we were all watching her on the new infrared camera. It is brilliant! We had to laugh as she woke up whilst we were watching her, and seemed to be smiling straight at us, as if she knew we were watching, it was quite bizarre. I didn't rush up to get her when she woke, and a few minutes later, after she'd kicked her little legs up in the air a bit, and played with snuggle bear, she was back out for the count and slept for about another hour.

It was lovely to see Stu and have a few drinks and a catch up, as we hadn't seen him in weeks. He couldn't believe the size of Eva, and Eva was all smiles for him.

After Eva was bathed, fed and fast asleep in bed, Mike treated me to a pre-birthday treat of Papa Johns pizza, it was deeeeeelish! :-) xxx
