Bath with Daddy!

Had a much better nights sleep all round last night with Eva waking once at around 2.30 am. I fed her, put her back in her bed, and the next thing I knew, was it was 8.15 am and Mike was gone from the bed, and he was getting Eva showered and dressed. And then brought her back to me in bed for her to have her morning feed.

Sue and Bebe came to visit this afternoon, and brought some cards for me and Eva for my birthday on Monday. Bebe had made Eva one too as she didn't want her to be left out when I opened mine. She is such a lovely little girl and is a real credit to my best friend. I love us both having our little girls. Bebe was giving Eva (or Ivor as she calls her) loads of hugs (you can never have too many hugs) and sticking her Peppa Pig stickers on Eva lol. They are all smiles for each other, it's so lovely to see.

When Mike got in from hockey, he ran his bath. Then when he was done I took Eva up to get in with him. We had to run quite a lot of cold water into it which made it even deeper, but she absolutely loved it! I got a fantastic video, but had to set it to private on YouTube to protect her modesty, as her splashing gets rather enthusiastic and she bares all hehe. It will be a video to cherish forever of her first bath with her Daddy. My turn next though :-)

Eva's sleep today was 11.45 am til about 2 pm ish, but was then tired and rubbing her eyes again by about 5.30, but this was too close to bedtime for another sleep, so I kept her up as long as possible, and eventually settled her into bed, after a feed and cuddles around 7pm. It's now 10.15 pm, and so far (touch wood) she hasn't stirred. Xxxx
