The Old Brewery, Shepton Mallett

This building originally opened in 1864 as The Shepton Mallett Pale Ale Brewery and was taken over in 1872 by a German company, becoming the Anglo-Bavarian Brewery with (disputed) claims to be the first brewery in England to brew lager-style beers. It closed in 1920 and now houses a number of small businesses, including the one we bought our woodburning stove from; we were there to buy one or two accessories to get the stove ready for winter.

Spent the afternoon listening to Yeovil's 1-1 draw away at Bolton, only being denied our second win by a Bolton equaliser in added time.

Today's Borneo backblip features another impressive structure.
