Maria goes to York.

The day arrived for Maria's move to York university. The blue sky and warm sunshine made the journey more bearable.
We set off at 11am, and everything got packed neatly into the car.
There was a hold up at Skipton for 30 minutes and then at Harrogate due to traffic tail backs, but apart from that things could not have been better.
The room she will be staying in has a decent comfortable bed, a basin,wardrobe, shelving, built- in desk and a mirror.
There are several plug sockets and a cork board.
The toilet and shower are nearby.
Three other girl students share her corner of the top floor.
It took the three of us three trips from the car to the room to bring all the things together.
I hope Maria enjoys her time there and makes lots of friends and has fun during freshers week.
It is the Toga party tonight.
We drove back home after two hours and the sun was setting.
It was good to see Arthur and Tiffany.
We can never be empty nesters because cats will always come to us for loving and feeding.
