Mouse mat and a collection of pine cones.

Each pine cone represents a specific kind of fir tree.
Evergreen trees are magnificent and I believe each one to be full of wonderful power and energy.
Each tree has a spirit. I am not so clever that I can easily tell you one from another.
Yet to me , the pine cone is a very sacred connection to Scotland and the tree from which each one came originally.
I find pine cones marvellous for their design and rugged texture.
There is seemingly a masculine quality to them within the cycle of Mother Nature.
There is a special pattern and some seem to have the shape of symbolic eyes.
