Flower and craft Festival by Churches Together

This collage brings together some of the excellent displays and craftwork that have been part of a weekend long Flower and Craft Festival, a Harvest of Talents at the Rishton Parish Church.
All the admission takings and money raised goes to the North West Air Ambulance Charity.
Some of the crafts include knitting, crochet, minature water colours, floral art,jewellery, Camera club photography, fabric Hearts of Gol with encouraging Bible verses, and poetry.
I needed this to feel at home after the emotional impact from yesterday, which I hope time and prayer will heal.
We got a call from our girl from uni and she enjoyed the Toga Party, and is gradually finding her sense of place there.
It will take time.
Visited my son and family and that helped alot.
Thank goodness Skype is an option for Maria so she can connect with family.
I am going to a Songs of Praise this evening at the parish church, this being the culmination of great efforts and a brilliant team led by Ruth.
