In the shadows

I found this in an arrangement in the foyer of the church and there were no lights on at the time and not too much natural light. I switched the camera flash off as I thought it gave a rather interesting effect - the flower was only pale green, so really the loss of colour was no problem, hence the mono. I wanted to focus on the shape coming out of the shadowy background.

A quite busy day today with the usual typing and copying. Also packed what I could into the two shoeboxes - less than I had hoped for, but some things can go to the Worthing Homeless shelter instead, and other things can be kept for another year :-)

The weather has been very grey and uninteresting, with some rain - definitely a day that encourages me to do indoor rather than outdoor things. I don't think tomorrow is forecast to be much better either. Hope the weather is better where you are!
