Harvest Lunch

We had our Harvest Meagre Lunch at church in aid of Tear Fund today. It wasn't that meagre really and we raised £190. This photo shows Y suggesting to her husband that some of the foliage decorating the table would make a good garland for his head! He said he wouldn't wear it for a photo, so no blip opportunity! However Y and I then decided that breaking off leaves and flowers and making an artistic pattern would be a good idea! The lady clearing the table later said you couldn't take Y anywhere - I did call out that I'd been responsible too! :-)

I was on the phone to BT for ages in the early afternoon trying to sort out my friend's phone situation. Even the new phone hasn't solved her problem, and they did a line test while I was on the phone which said it was okay, so they are arranging with her to send out an engineer to try and pinpoint what the problem is.

Some friends came round mid-afternoon and we had some pizza together for tea and looked at their holiday photos. A busy, but good day!
