South Coast Scribblings

Clerodendron trichotomum fargesii

Hubby and I went for a walk this afternoon and we went past the trees that I didn't manage to identify here and noticed that it now has white berries growing in what were the pink buds (which then produced the white flowers with the long stamens). There were still a few flowers too, producing the wonderful scent that I noticed before. I still really want to know what these trees are - I think they must be a hybrid as I trawled through loads of images and could find nothing exactly the same.

Finally identified by gladders! It's from China originally.

A little bit of sun today but mostly grey and a bit chilly. About to get some scones ready for tea, so must dash! Hope everyone is having a good day :-)
